The Valleys Race Equality Council (Valrec) is a charitable voluntary organisation committed to:

• Working towards eliminating racial discrimination
• Campaigning for equality of opportunity
• Promoting good relations between persons of different racial groups

We aim to develop our work on issues of racism and racial discrimination and racial equality in many areas through training, casework and policy work in:

• Education
• Employment
• Housing
• Racist incidents and harassment
• Service provision
